The sea stacks near Duncansby Head, John O' Groats are located just off the coast of what is the most north easterly point of the UK mainland.
To get to Duncansby Stacks, you drive south from the car park, harbour and terminus at John O' Groats onto the A99. Take the left turn with signage for Puffin Croft Farm Shop and follow the signs for Duncansby Head.
After a 10-minute winding drive up to Duncansby Head, you arrive at a free car park by a lighthouse. Proceeding on foot, you walk along the coast in a southerly direction until you see the sea stacks.
