Reiss Sands is a beach in Caithness, North Scotland just 5-10 minutes’ drive from Wick along the North Coast 500. It looks out to the sea at Sinclair Bay.
The beach is a mix of sand and pebble. It has a small stream running to the sea.
Ackergill Tower can be seen along the coast, after which you see Castle Sinclair Girnigoe and Noss Head. The beach neighbours Wick Golf Course.
Occasionally, seals and orca can be viewed in the ocean. The beach is also known for its occasional sightings of Northern Lights, along with nearby Keiss Beach and Duncansby Head.
